Around the starting of the year 2012, datawind has launched yet another edition known as, Ubislate 7+( Upgraded Akash), which features some additional functions such as Cortex A8 Processor - 700 Mhz.
In May 2012 Datwind has launched yet another edition of Ubislate and it is Ubislate 7C. It differ from the Ubislate 7+ from the touch sensitivity. 7C offers capacitive touch screen and improved video display.
The Ubislate 7 is not available on the market now. The manufacturers are on the production of Ubislate 7+ and Ubislate 7C. The Ubislate 7+ is expected to work much more faster than the Ubislate 7 model. Also, Ubsilate 7+ contain a sim slot so that we can browse internet just like a mobile. Also it will have Wi-Fi connection too. The Ubislate 7C has more sensitive capacitive screen feature. Also it has a better processing speed than the previous versions. The pre-booking of the Ubislate 7C model may start within two or three months. So many peoples are waiting for the start of prebooking of this tablet. Because no manufacturing company has not yet launched a tablet with the capacitive screen along with a sim slot at a reasonable price.
Another tablet BSNL Penta T-PAD IS701R have almost similar specifications of Ubislate 7+. But the major difference is that Ubislate 7+ has sim slot and it supports phone calling felicities. BSNL Penta T-PAD IS701R comes with BSNL sim which can be used to browse internet at lower rate. But the problem is it requires a 3G dongle to connect with the sim. These all makes Ubislate 7+, the most wanted tablet for the common peoples.
