Microsoft launched the first Lumia phone without Nokia brand name. It was indeed one of the hot discussions in forums and social networking sites and now it comes a reality. It has been more than one year since Nokia was acquired by Microsoft. People are very much eager to see the so called Microsoft logo on the Lumia phones. 

Coming into the handset, it's a mid range phone at an exceptional price. The most interesting feature is the selfie specialized 5 MP camera. It's a 5-inch handset with 220ppi pixel density. The 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core chipset with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory is worth for  money. Lumia 535 will be available in Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey, and Black colours like other Lumia handsets. 5 MP rear camera comes with LED flash and auto focus feature. The all new Lumia 535 has already launched in US and it is yet to be launched in India. 

Skype video service, office applications and 'Cortana' comes pre-installed in this phone also Microsift provides a free OneDrive storage of  15 GB.

Definitely it will be a great deal for all the selfie lovers and those who are looking for a phone with all new brand name 'Microsoft'.

It's been a while since my last post. I was not in touch with the latest updates and was not completely able to concentrate here with the latest contents. Now I am completely feeling free to write here and I will ensure top quality and updated contents.

So many changes happened in technology during these days. I will be refreshing some of them. It was MOTOROLA products which made a milestone in the mobile market. The first gen Moto G was a grant success and lacs and lacs of units were sold through out the world. After the success of Moto G,  MOTOROLA introduced another model named Moto E at an exceptional price. This budget model was yet another glow for the company especially in emerging markets like India. It was sold exclusively by the leading online seller flipkart in India.

In the recent years, we witnessed the growth of  companies like Micromax, Lenova etc.. It was these companies that over took Samsung products. Some series from Micromax like Canvas was really impressive with its price - specs comparison. Lenovo, the chinese brand, made a foot mark in the mobile market and some models were beyond the expectations.

Tablet PC Price List in India

As in my previous post, the Tablets are making revolution in India. Many types of Tablet PCs are now available in Indian market. Buyers are confused due to the availability of huge variety of Tablet PCs. There are some advantages for one product to the other product. The manufacturers are on the run for building up the most price efficient Tablets. 

Here I'm listing out the price of various Tablet PCs in India. Now, I am really concentrating on the low cost Tablets

• BSNL Penta T-pad

These Tablets one of the cheapest one that is available now. BSNL 2G Service support is also provided with these tablets.

Price of BSNL Penta T-Pad IS701R is Rs. 3250.

Price of BSNL Penta T-Pad IS703C is Rs. 6749.

• Ubislate

The manufacturer of Ubislate series Tabs are Datawind. They have already launched three various tabs, Ubislate 7, Ubislate 7+, Ubislate 7C. Among these Ubislate 7C is the latest one.

Price of Ubislate 7 is Rs.1750.

Price of Ubislate 7+ is Rs. 2999.

Price of Ubislate 7C is Rs. 4999.

• Micromax Funbook

Funbook is a low cost Tablet PC launched by Mcromax. They seem to be good in their performance at its reasonable price.
Price of Micromax Funbook is Rs. 6499.

• HCL ME U1

HCL has introduced a brand new model tablet PC, HCL ME U1 in India. This tablet have almost similar specifications as that of Micromax Funbook. But, this tab is a little more expensive than Micromax Funbook

Price of HCL ME U1 is Rs. 7999.

• NXG XTab A10

NXG electronics has also introduced a good looking low price table in India named XTab A10. They seem to have a little more upgraded specification list.
Price of 8GB NXG XTab A10 is Rs. 6690.
Price of 4GB NXG XTab a10 is Rs. 5690.

• Attitude Daksha

It is tablet PC launched by Telmoco Development Labs. The prebooking of this tablet is now available on the official site.

BeeLabz BeeTabz Dhruv

BeeTabz Dhruv is a new tablet pc introduced by BeeLabz. It is a 7 inch tablet which is pre-loaded with the new Android 4.0 Operating System. It has a 1.2 Ghz Cortex A8 Processor with 512 MB DDR3 Ram. It can be considered as a good alternative for Micromax Funbook and Attitude Daksha. It has a capacitive screen which is more sensitive and can be operated very easily. Also it has a front camera of 0.3 Mega Pixel, so we can have a good video chat. Also it has inbuilt speakers and microphone. These facilities makes it more compatible for online chatting and calling. Its battery back up is just average.

It is built with a storage capacity of 4GB. But, we can increase the storage capacity by inserting MicroSD cards up to 32GB. Also it can offer a good touch sensitivity in gaming too. Since it has a capacitive screen multi-touching can be done.  

One of the main disadvantages of this tablet PC is, connectivity is possible only through Wi-Fi. It does not contain a sim slot. So we can not browse internet if there is no Wi-Fi connection. Also it does not have bluetooth connectivity. So in total it is a good tablet at its lowest price. This tablet could have been much more better if it has a sim slot or some other methods for the connectivity.

World's Cheapest Tablet- Ubislate

World's cheapest Tablet PC has been launched by DataWind,  a British manufacturing and marketing company   in India. It costs around 40 to 50$ ( Rs. 2000 to 3000).  First edition is having 7 inch touch pad and known as Aakash Tablet PC, this product is mainly targeted on the students. But later it is modified by Ubislate series having improved specifications. Ubislate 7 has 7 inch resistive touch and having Arm11- 366Mhz microprocessor. And it has Operating System Android 2.2 with network access though Wifi. Ubislate 7 costs around Rs. 2500. 

Around the starting of the year 2012, datawind has launched yet another edition known as, Ubislate 7+( Upgraded Akash), which features some additional functions such as Cortex A8 Processor - 700 Mhz.

In May 2012 Datwind has launched yet another edition of Ubislate and it is Ubislate 7C. It differ from the Ubislate 7+ from the touch sensitivity. 7C offers capacitive touch screen and improved video display. 


The Ubislate 7 is not available on the market now. The manufacturers are on the production of Ubislate 7+ and Ubislate 7C. The Ubislate 7+ is expected to work much more faster than the Ubislate 7 model. Also, Ubsilate 7+ contain a sim slot so that we can browse internet just like a mobile. Also it will have Wi-Fi connection too.  The Ubislate 7C has more sensitive capacitive screen feature. Also it has a better processing speed than the previous versions. The pre-booking of the Ubislate 7C model may start within two or three months. So many peoples are waiting for the start of prebooking of this tablet. Because no manufacturing company has not yet launched a tablet with the capacitive screen along with a sim slot at a reasonable price.


Another tablet BSNL Penta T-PAD IS701R have almost similar specifications of Ubislate 7+. But the major difference is that Ubislate 7+ has sim slot and it supports phone calling felicities. BSNL Penta T-PAD IS701R comes with BSNL sim which can be used to browse internet at lower rate. But the problem is it requires a 3G dongle to connect with the sim. These all makes Ubislate 7+, the most wanted tablet for the common peoples.

Tablet PC Revolution

In the modern world PCs and Laptops are replaced by the new marketing product Tablet PCs. It is nothing but a new revolution in the technology world. A couple of years back the laptop was the most popular and comfortable device for the professionals. But now, in most cases they are replaced by the brand new Tablet PCs. Almost all the PC/Laptops manufactures are now behind the manufacturing of brand  new model Tablet PCs.

It is just another revolution after the laptop. Most of the features of a Laptop or a PC are now available on the tiny and cool tablet PCs, along with android support. Android is just another fact that makes the Tablet PC just ahead of Ordinary PCs. Almost every types of apps are now available in the android market. Some of the manufactures produce the sim slot along with them, so as to have a smart phone like phone calling and messaging facilities. Through the sim we can browse 2G or 3G with out the support of any external devices such as Dongles.

The aim of the leading manufacturing companies are to build up a Tablet PC with latest specifications at a lower cost. Many companies are in the hunt for it. Some of them have already launched their low cost Tablet PCs. Datawind has launched a tab with the cheapest rate. And it is yet to be available in the market. Another Indian Company has launched some special type of tablets named Penta T-pads along with BSNL data plan support. 


The tablet PCs are just a passion now a days. They are looking more trendy and beauty than any other product. The touch screens are the main attraction of Tablet PCs. The capacitive screened tablet performs much better than a resistive screened one. The capacitive touch screen allows multi-touching. Also we can pinch in and pinch out for zooming in and out in a capacitive screen. 


Tablets of various range of prices are now available in the market. Tablet PCs of higher specification generally costs more than 10,000. But now a days the tables of price less than 5000 are available. But, they seem to be little more slower in their performance. But common people need their tablet at lower price. The government and authorities are on the move to distribute the low cost tablets to the school and college students. So, let us hope a new generation having Tablet PCs in their bag instead of books. But we need to wait and see how much this can be practical in the real world. Anyway, tablets are just changing the history. Also keyboard cases of these tablets are available in the market. By using these cases we can use  tablets as a tiny laptop. It also consists of USB ports as a normal PC/laptop through which we can connect pen drive or any USB device to it. 

Let us wait and see how the Tablet revolution going to rock the entire world.
